Fighting Hunger
Every year, more than 10 million children under the age of five die due to malnutrition and hunger-related causes. The Assembly of God Bethlehem Ministry – USA and its partners are committed to relieving hunger and improving food security through integrated community-based programs. We work with church partners and local organizations to equip people to live healthier, more productive lives.
In underserved areas, we work directly with community members to expand access to and availability of food. By helping people identify and use their own resources, knowledge, and skills, our efforts promote sustainable agricultural strategies that help families feed themselves while protecting the environment. These locally developed programs address the specific context of hunger and have a positive impact on the health and economic well-being of communities.
Your support helps us fight poverty and increase self-sufficiency through:
Providing tools, seeds, and training to support small-scale and family farming.
Distributing healthy livestock to families, creating new sources of income.
Improving nutrition and diversifying the crops families grow, sell, and consume.
Training farmers in agricultural techniques that increase food production.
Encouraging sustainable and environmentally responsible farming practices that improve soil quality and help crops thrive.
